No. There is no feed, no likes, no follower count, and no algorithm deciding what people see. A window is a place, not a post — it does not disappear into a timeline.

You get a display placement in Milliopolis: your selected window, your photo, your display name, and your short story. You also receive a shareable resident card and a link to your window.

Early residents get to choose from the first available places in the city and help unlock the first city milestones. If you want your family, friends, or project to be part of the founding map, now is the best time to choose your spot.

Personal windows start from $1.99. Prices depend on the building type. Shop windows include an external link and start at $49.99.

No. A window is a one-time purchase. There is no monthly subscription.

Your Owner Code is a private code shown once after purchase. It is used to request edits or removal later. Save it somewhere safe — we cannot recover it if lost.

Yes. Submitted names, photos, stories, and shop links may be reviewed before or after publication. Content that violates the Terms may be rejected, hidden, or removed.

No digital project can promise literal forever. Your window is intended to remain part of Milliopolis for as long as the Project remains commercially, legally, and technically available, as further described in our Terms.

When we use words like "permanent," we mean that your window is designed as a fixed place in the city — not a temporary post, subscription slot, feed item, or algorithmic placement. It does not expire on a set date, scroll away, or get replaced simply because new windows are added.

Our long-term goal is for Milliopolis to become a durable digital city that can continue beyond its original founders.

If the Project reaches meaningful scale, including the milestone of 100,000 claimed windows, we intend to evaluate long-term preservation options, which may include setting aside company resources, creating a dedicated reserve, partnering with long-term infrastructure providers, or using another structure designed to support ongoing hosting and maintenance costs.

This is our present intention and long-term plan, not a contractual guarantee, escrow arrangement, trust, charitable endowment, investment product, or promise that any specific amount of purchase revenue will be reserved or used in a particular way. All purchases are payments for the digital rights and services described in our Terms. The Terms control the actual commitments that apply to your window.
