These Terms of Purchase and Content Policy (“Terms”) apply to each purchase of a window, commercial space, or similar display placement on the Milliopolis website or application (“Milliopolis,” “Project,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By purchasing a window or submitting any content to Milliopolis, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.
Milliopolis is an interactive digital city where users may purchase digital window placements and display approved photos, names, descriptions, and, for commercial placements, links.
A purchase gives you the right to display approved content in the selected placement according to these Terms. It does not give you ownership of any part of the Milliopolis website, software, artwork, city map, buildings, source code, brand, domain name, or underlying technology.
When you purchase a window or placement, we may store the following information:
We do not store your full payment card number or payment credentials. Payments are processed by Stripe or another payment processor, and payment information is handled according to that processor’s terms and privacy policy.
After purchase, you may receive a unique Owner Code. The Owner Code is used to verify your ability to request updates, deletion, or management of your purchased placement.
You are responsible for saving and protecting your Owner Code. We store only a hash of the Owner Code and may not be able to recover, verify, or reissue it if lost.
Evolution AI LLC is not responsible for loss of access, inability to manage a placement, or inability to request updates caused by your failure to save or protect your Owner Code.
Possession of a valid Owner Code does not automatically approve any update, change, transfer, replacement, or republication of a placement. All requested changes remain subject to these Terms, payment requirements, technical availability, and our review and approval process.
After successful payment and approval, your purchased placement will be displayed as purchased in Milliopolis for as long as the Project remains commercially and technically available, unless:
Using a valid Owner Code, you may request changes to your purchased placement, including changes to the displayed name, photo, description, link, or other available placement information.
Requested changes may require payment of the then-current purchase, repurchase, update, modification, or resubmission fee. After successful payment, the updated placement information will be submitted for review and moderation. Changes are not guaranteed and will not be displayed unless approved by us.
All submitted placement information, including any updated, replaced, or resubmitted name, photo, description, link, or other content, must comply with these Terms, our applicable content rules, moderation requirements, technical requirements, and applicable law.
We may approve, reject, edit, remove, or request revisions to any submitted or updated placement information in our discretion, including for quality, safety, legal, technical, moderation, brand, community, or operational reasons.
References to “permanent” or “forever” mean that the placement is intended to remain associated with the purchaser during the lifetime of the Project, subject to these Terms. They do not guarantee that the Project, website, domain, infrastructure, design, or display format will exist indefinitely.
You may request deletion of your placement by providing the correct Owner Code.
Deletion is permanent. After deletion, we may remove the associated photo, name, description, link, and other placement information from active display. We may retain limited technical logs or audit records for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and dispute resolution.
Deletion does not entitle you to a refund.
After deletion, the placement may become available for purchase again by you or by another user.
If you use a valid Owner Code to repurchase, update, replace, modify, or resubmit placement information, the new or revised information may require a new payment and will be treated as a new submission for moderation purposes.
The placement will not be updated, redisplayed, or republished unless and until the submission is approved. All repurchased, updated, replaced, modified, or resubmitted placement information must comply with these Terms, our applicable content rules, moderation requirements, technical requirements, and applicable law.
All payments are final and non-refundable, including payments for initial purchases, repurchases, updates, replacements, modifications, or resubmissions.
Payment does not guarantee approval, display, republication, continued display, or any specific placement format, design, ranking, visibility, or duration.
If submitted placement information is rejected, removed, not displayed, or not updated because it violates these Terms, our content rules, moderation requirements, technical requirements, applicable law, or for any legal, safety, technical, business, or operational reason, you will not be entitled to a refund.
Nothing in these Terms limits any refund rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
All purchased placements and submitted content are subject to review and moderation before or after publication.
We may reject, hide, suspend, edit, crop, resize, reformat, or remove any content or placement if we believe, in our sole discretion, that it violates these Terms, creates legal risk, creates security risk, harms users, harms the Project, or is otherwise inappropriate for Milliopolis.
We try to moderate content promptly, but we do not guarantee any specific review or publication time.
If content is rejected or removed because it violates these Terms, the purchase price is non-refundable, except where required by law or where we decide otherwise in our sole discretion.
Residential placements, including apartment or family windows, may be used for personal, family, memorial, or non-commercial display.

Residential placements may not be used for advertising third-party goods, services, websites, social media accounts, businesses, political campaigns, religious campaigns, fundraising campaigns, or commercial promotions.
Commercial placements, including shops or other business-related placements, may include:
Commercial links must lead to real, lawful, and safe resources. Links may not lead to phishing pages, malware, scams, deceptive offers, illegal goods or services, or other harmful content.
We may remove or disable any commercial link at any time if we believe it is unsafe, deceptive, unlawful, or inconsistent with these Terms.
You may not upload, display, link to, or submit content that includes or promotes:
If content violates these rules, we may reject or remove it without refund, except where required by law.
You represent and warrant that:
You are solely responsible for the content you submit and for any claims, disputes, or damages arising from that content.
By uploading or submitting content to Milliopolis, you grant Evolution AI LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, resize, crop, compress, display, publicly perform, distribute, and technically process your content as necessary to operate, maintain, display, promote, and improve Milliopolis.
This license is limited to the operation and promotion of Milliopolis and related Evolution AI LLC services.
You also allow us to use screenshots, videos, renders, previews, social media posts, press materials, and marketing materials that show the Milliopolis city map, including areas where your window, name, photo, or placement may appear incidentally.
We will not intentionally use your specific photo, name, or story as a standalone endorsement, testimonial, case study, or targeted advertisement without your additional consent.
Milliopolis is an evolving digital project. We may modify the city map, buildings, window locations, display sizes, zoom levels, visual style, technical infrastructure, pricing, features, moderation process, and user interface at any time.
We will make reasonable efforts to preserve the general status of purchased placements, but we do not guarantee that any placement will always appear in the exact same pixel position, size, building, design, or format.
All prices are shown at the time of purchase. Payments are processed by Stripe or another payment processor.
Unless otherwise stated, purchases are final and non-refundable after payment, except where required by law or where we decide otherwise in our sole discretion.
We may refuse, cancel, or refund any purchase if we suspect fraud, payment abuse, chargeback abuse, technical error, violation of these Terms, or other misuse.
Chargebacks, payment disputes, or fraudulent payment activity may result in suspension or removal of the related placement.
Milliopolis is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We do not guarantee that the website, city map, purchased placements, uploaded content, or any feature will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or preserved without loss.
We are not responsible for delays, downtime, data loss, hosting issues, payment processor issues, cyberattacks, force majeure events, third-party service failures, or discontinuation of the Project.
If the Project is permanently discontinued, we may make reasonable efforts to notify users in advance, but we do not guarantee compensation, refunds, migration, or continued hosting.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Evolution AI LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, reputational harm, or business interruption.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Evolution AI LLC’s total liability for any claim related to a purchased placement will not exceed the amount you actually paid for that specific placement.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Evolution AI LLC, its owners, officers, contractors, service providers, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from or related to:
You must be at least 18 years old to make a purchase.
If you are under 18, you may use or purchase a placement only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
If a submitted photo includes a minor, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of that minor or that you have obtained permission from the parent or legal guardian.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes may be announced on the website.
Your continued use of Milliopolis after updated Terms are posted means that you accept the updated Terms.
For purchases made before a change, we will use reasonable efforts not to materially reduce the core display rights associated with already-approved placements, unless required for legal, safety, security, technical, or operational reasons.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or Milliopolis will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Florida, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Milliopolis is intended to be a long-term digital project. However, the Company does not guarantee that the Project, any window, or any related service will remain available forever or for any specific period of time.
The Company may modify, suspend, migrate, archive, discontinue, or terminate the Project or any part of it if continued operation becomes commercially impractical, technically infeasible, legally restricted, insecure, or otherwise not reasonably sustainable.
Any statements about long-term preservation, reserves, future funding, founder succession, or the Project’s intended lifespan are statements of present intention only and do not create a trust, escrow, fiduciary duty, investment interest, charitable endowment, or contractual obligation to allocate any particular funds in any particular manner.
